SLEs

At Seven Kings High School, our Specialist Leaders of Education (SLEs) offer a wide range of expertise. SLEs are designated by Teaching Schools as they are outstanding middle and senior leaders who have the skills to develop the leadership capacity of individuals and teams in schools, using coaching or facilitating that draws on their knowledge and expertise in their specialist area. The work will contribute to improving outcomes for children.

If you would like to book one of our SLEs to offer support in your school, please contact our Teaching School Administrator, Carol O’Brien: c.obrien@sevenkings.school for more information.

After many years working in accounting I changed my profession to teaching; the best choice I’ve ever made! I have been teaching for six years and initially led on maths and assessment due to my accounting background but I now lead on reading and specialise in early reading development. My work has seen me seconded across 3 primary schools to lead on rapid change initiatives to improve teaching and learning. I am experienced in coaching, mentoring and facilitating and am passionate about supporting the development of others.
