Our latest Jack Petchey winner

We are very pleased to announce that Rines Shanthakumar (10.5) has become the second Jack Petchey Achievement Award winner of the 2015/16 academic year.

Rines was recently nominated for the Panathlon Outstanding Sporting Achievement Award as a result of his sporting efforts during the 2014/2015 academic year and he was invited to attend a special awards ceremony at the John Lewis Olympic Suite on 18th November, where he finished runner-up. Not only did Rines lead the Redbridge Panathlon team to their highest ever finish at the London Panathlon Games, he also led the school table cricket team to the National Final of The Lord's Taverners Table Cricket Competition at Lords, again finishing in second place. Rines is a fantastic role model to all pupils at Seven Kings School and thoroughly deserves this recognition.

By winning the Jack Petchey Achievement Award, Rines has the opportunity to donate £200 to an area of school life he is passionate about. He has been presented with a certificate and a Jack Petchey pin-badge and he will also receive a medallion at a special awards ceremony in December 2016.
