Welcome from the Headteacher

MsbeaumontI am extremely proud to be Head of Primary for Seven Kings Primary School, a brand new school that opened in September 2015.

The school is part of the already established and very successful Seven Kings High School and I know there will be many advantages of being an All Through School, working in conjunction with the secondary school. I have spent the last year in the Secondary school working to develop our Primary school which will reflect the same high aspirations for our children, with learning at the centre of all we do embedded in a culture of respect, friendship and excellence.

We seek to provide outstanding learning opportunities for all our children and to instil in them a love of learning.

Seven Kings Primary School is a four-form entry school, with 120 Reception children who started this September 2015. As these children move up through the school, an additional 120 children will start each year. The school will reach full capacity by September 2021, when the original Reception intake becomes year 6. These first children will be the founding year groups of the school and see the school grow as they move up through it. All children who attend Seven Kings Primary will automatically be entitled to move on to Seven Kings High School.

The opportunity to create a new school is a rare privilege and an honour. I am passionate about education and the power it has to change people’s lives for the better and I believe wholeheartedly that all children deserve a first class education regardless of background and individual circumstances. Creating a new school gives us the unique opportunity to get it right from the start; a culture where every child is valued, a school which ignites the spark of curiosity, creativity and individuality and the belief that hard work and commitment leads to success.

I am committed to ensuring that Seven Kings Primary School will offer a truly outstanding education and that it will be a place where we can dare to dream and where learning will be central to everything we do.

We want our children to develop a zest for learning, to build high self-esteem and a strong determination to succeed.
