Our Restaurant
Seven Kings School aims to provide students and staff with a variety of healthy nutritious meal and snack options that taste as good as they look and form an essential part of a healthy balanced diet. In partnership with Accent Catering (www.accentcatering.co.uk) Seven Kings offers theatre cooking and modern ethnically diverse dishes that provide a contemporary twist on conventional school meals in addition to traditional meals and snacks.
All meat used is Halal meat.
Healthy Eating
The menus are all put into the 'nutmeg' computer programme to ensure they meet the 14 Nutritional Standards set by The School Food Trust. Accent has a consultant dietician and is an active member of the Food Standard's Agency "Health Catering" sector.
The Accent staff meet with their team of Chefs at least three times a year to review menus and create new ones for the term ahead. They see food as more than just a fuel and recognise the ability of food to boost health, improve IQ and create a sense of well-being.
Having a Choice
We believe in providing choice and our menus can be viewed here. All the options provide excellent value for money.
Menus change seasonally with each new term and favourites feature alongside new, innovative dishes. Themed menus celebrate different cultural events and offer students an opportunity to sample foods from other countries/cultures.

Environmental Considerations
Sustainable sourcing, fair-trade and food miles are all taken very seriously. All the food on offer is made from the freshest ingredients which are locally sourced, where possible. All the packaging, plates, cups and cutlery is biodegradable and in many cases made from recycled materials. Accent only use British meat, poultry and Free Range eggs and 75% of the fruit and vegetables used are grown in Britain.
Education - Supporting the Curriculum
By linking the menus to the School's curriculum Accent are assisting the School by complementing learning in the classroom. Accent also arrange talks and demonstrations from their suppliers and regularly introduce new and unusual foods to students; in this way food is treated as an educational tool to encourage new experiences.
