Important Information about Year 7 Places at Seven Kings School

Seven Kings School is an all through school which means that the current Year 6 pupils in the primary phase will automatically be given a Year 7 place in the secondary phase in September 2022.

 

Parents of current Year 6 children in Seven Kings School do not need to apply for a place if they want their child to automatically transfer. This will happen for the first time for entry in September 2022.

 

Due to this, the number of Secondary Transfer places available in Year 7 for September 2022 will be reduced to 60 from the previous 180, as 120 children in the school will move up from Year 6 to Year 7 automatically.

 

Please be aware of this when you make your application from 1 September 2021, and ensure that you read the Admission Arrangements 2022-2023 on the Redbridge website carefully, to understand the oversubscription criteria for the school.

 

Catchment siblings will have a high priority for these remaining places, so please ensure that you name six schools on your application, to increase the chances of you being offered a local preferred school place. We remind all parents that although living in the catchment area of a school will give you a higher priority than those who do not, there is no guarantee that you will be offered a place at your catchment school.
