Further Maths will be available to those pupils who have achieved a Grade 8 at GCSE. Further Maths is two A-Level qualifications – Maths A-Level & Further Maths A-Level. Both are automatically selected when you apply.

To study Maths you need a Grade 7 in GCSE Maths 

To study 2 or more Sciences (Chemistry/Biology/Physics) you must have Grade 7s in those subjects and combined science pupils will need Grade 7-7 or higher. To study Physics you also need a Grade 7 or above in Maths.

To study Art you must have studied it at GCSE and obtained a Grade 6

To study DT Product Design you must have studied it at GCSE and obtained a Grade 6

To study French you must have studied it at GCSE and obtained a Grade 6

To study Spanish you must have studied it at GCSE and obtained a Grade 6

To study Psychology you must have a Grade 6 or above in GCSE English Language AND GCSE Biology/Combined Science

To study Computer Science you must have studied it at GCSE and obtained a Grade 6

To study History you should have ideally studied it at GCSE and obtained a Grade 6 OR achieved a Grade 6 in GCSE English Language

To study Government & Politics you need a Grade 6 or above in GCSE History OR English Language

To study Geography you must have a Grade 6 in GCSE Geography OR English Language

To study English Literature you must have a Grade 6 in GCSE English Literature

To study Economics you must have a Grade 6 in GCSE English Language

To study 1 Science (Chemistry/Biology/Physics) you must have at least a Grade 6 in the subject chosen and combined science pupils need at least a Grade 6-6. To study Physics you also need a Grade 7 or above in Maths

To study Sociology you must have a Grade 5 in GCSE Sociology OR English Language

To study Religious Studies you must have a Grade 5 in Religious Studies OR GCSE English Language
